Persistence Works has 51 studios of different sizes, specially designed to suit a wide range of visual art practices. Monthly rental charges start at £90 and go up to £250 depending on the size of studio. Studios have 24/7 access. YASS run education & outreach programmes, artist in residence schemes, professional development programmes and exhibitions.

S1's studios are open plan to support a flexible approach and a dialogue around contemporary art practice. The studios are managed by a committee of artist members who play an active role in determining the direction and future of the organisation. Since 2003 S1 has employed a curator to develop and manage a programme of contemporary art exhibitions and events called S1 / projects. See website for further details.

The Garden rooms provide studio space for creative professionals, and are involved in the delivery & facilitation of community arts activities.
E-CAMPUS (in development)
Sheffield is to be the site of an e-campus – a dedicated business environment where your digital, ICT, multi-media and software companies can be nurtured, grow and flourish, feeding off each other in the same or similar commercial environment. E-Campus will provide the leading edge technology required to drive businesses forward. It is anticipated that this will include 3 telecom providers, wireless, cable and satellite capabilities, telcom and utility back-up, 1Mb per second minimum speed and broadband availability. Phase one, the Sheffield Digital Business Centre (SDBC) will be 53,000 sq ft of managed workspace, available from Autumn 2007. No price guide available yet.

THE WORKSTATION
Refurbished building within the Cultural Industries Quarter of Sheffield offering managed workspace with an extensive range of services and facilities, in a lively, creative business environment, enabling cultural organizations to support each other and interact with each other, as part of a community.
