Screen Yorkshire and Media Box Funding

Screen Yorkshire are acting as pre-application support in the Yorkshire region for MediaBox

This is a new fund aimed at 13-19 year olds supporting media based projects (film, tv, radio, print, interactive).

Three levels of fund are available

• up to £1k for young people to apply themselves
• up to £20k for middle size projects
• up to £80K for major schemes

All schemes have to be finished by March 2008, so people need to move fast.

Screen Yorkshire is available to offer advice and support to organisations wanting to apply. Also MediaBox are offering regional roadshows to help spread message and promote applications and are looking for an event in Hull to piggy-back onto.
