London 2012 invites UK arts organisations to be part of the Cultural Olympiad
The Cultural Olympiad is a UK wide festival that will place culture and creativity at the
heart of the 2012 Olympic Games. It starts on the weekend of 26-28 September 2008, and runs right
through to the end of the 2012 games. London may be the Host City, but the 2012 Games belong to –
and will benefit - the whole country.
London 2012 is now inviting organisations across the country to submit inspirational ideas,
projects, events or activities inspired by 2012, to be considered for inclusion in the Cultural
Olympiad. Proposals must meet set criteria and a limited number of projects will be selected.
