Wak StudiosWAK Studios is a new digital animation company based in Doncaster.
WAK provides creative animation services to both the educational and commercial sectors. WAK's commercial work includes producing animations for television, advertising, visualisation and interactive media.
Recent work includes an animation tutorial for the international publication 3D World magazine. WAK's educational work includes creating bespoke training services in 3D spanning all areas of the curriculum and including a vast array of abilities.
Currently WAK are working on a funded animation short and delivering workshops to City Learning Centres throughout the north of England.
WAK's accumulated years of professional experience and contacts in the digital cpmputer animation industry can benefit both the educational and commercial sectors.
Creative director Warren Fearn has worked for London BBC Resources, Virtual Reality and 3DFX departments whilst joint Director Kate Corbin worked in the games industry at Sony / Psygnosis. Both directors have recently taught in H.E. and F.E. on undergraduate animation courses. Warren also has a PGCE and is a external moderator for a new NCFE Level 2 Animation course.
