The artist behind the art!
Overview
Art is my saviour: it enables me to have freedom from other physical constraints, namely Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. I share what I see, and nature is where I find revelations that inspire my work. I like variety and being versatile. The challenges of art's diversity are enjoyable!
Background
At the age of sixteen, my work was exhibited at the prestigious Wildlife Art Centre, Gloucester,
UK.
Simultaneously, I won an 'Easy Jeans' clothing design competition prize, followed by
completion of Huddersfield New College mural memorial and my first few commissions.
I went on to study Scientific and Natural History Illustration, at the renowned Blackpool and
the Fylde College with additional training in: Photography and Creative Technology.
I have been in numerous UK art exhibitions over the years and completed art commissions
(mainly pet portraits).
