Interested in working in film, TV, music or theatre? Want to be an artist, dancer, ceramist,
sculptor or writer, but don’t know where to start? If you have got the talent and enthusiasm we can
help with the skills.
Learn how to develop internet radio broadcasts, how to post podcasts, and how to use technical
camera equipment. Acquire new DJ-ing and mixing skills, make a short film, take part in
story-telling theatre. Develop your own website, learn HTML skills, create, produce and record
music, and attain new graphic design skills.
Want to perfect all these new skills alongside project planning, problem solving, customer
service skills, communication skills, team work and portfolio development AND gain a recognised
qualification (Level III CoPE – equivalent to an AS level) at the same time?
Are you over 18 and living in Kirklees?
YES? Let us help you to create your future.
The Creative Futures training course is FREE and will take place over 8 weeks in venues across
Huddersfield town centre for two days per week during September and October 2007. Only a few
remaining places are available so please contact Amy at CIDA for more details; email
amy@cida.org or call 01484 483140.
The Creative Futures programme is run by CIDA (Creative Industries Development Agency) and is
funded by Yorkshire Forward through the West Yorkshire Skills Investment Plan.
