What an opportunity for West Yorkshire filmmakers and musicians!!

20/20/2Vision will give 20 filmmakers and 20 musicians/bands the novel opportunity to make 20 music videos under the supervision and mentoring from industry experts. The catch is; they only have 2 weeks to make the videos!

Deadline for music and film entrants: 20th March 2006
Actual filmmaking dates: 3rd - 17th April 2006

20/20/2Vision, managed by arts management group arts-stra and film production company Left Eye Blind Productions, is currently seeking West Yorkshire based musicians/bands and filmmakers to enter this unique competition for the chance to showcase their talents, soak up advice and skills from peers and industry experts and of course, win prizes.

Show your work:

Musicians/bands and filmmakers will be invited to showcase their work at various venues throughout the 2 weeks of the competition.  These include the Faversham, Leeds City Centre Millennium Square, the Hyde Park Picture House and the Hi-Fi Club.  The project will also be documented by BBCLeeds and Channel4 IDEASFACTORY

Learn your craft:

A full mentoring and support program is available throughout the full two weeks of film making to aid the professional development of those interested in film or music.  These will be delivered by industry experts from both film and music and will take place in different locations around Leeds.  The chosen teams will also have free access to cutting edge pre and post production equipment to help add that professional touch to their music videos.

20/20/2Vision offers the opportunity to cross-breed, share skills and tips with talented film makers and musicians, from a broad range of backgrounds and producing from a diverse range of genres.
