The Calderdale Working Together project through funding from the Learning and Skills Council (LSC) has been set up to support the involvement of the voluntary/community sector in shaping the provision and funding of learning/training in the future.
The purpose of the Bursary Fund
The purpose of this fund is to support Voluntary/Community groups in attending events, networks, forums and meetings with the aim of increasing the representation and involvement of the Voluntary/Community sector in Learning and Skills activity. Activity to be funded must be clearly linked to the Calderdale Working Together project. Applicants will be asked to show how information will be fed back to this project. Who can apply?
Voluntary/Community groups in Calderdale providing or interested in providing learning/training opportunities. Priority will be given to groups with an income of less than £50,000.
Applicants must have governing document e.g. constitution, Set of rules, Memorandum and Articles of Association etc
How much can I apply for?
£40 per activity e.g. meeting, forum, event, network. This will be paid to the Voluntary/Community group that the applicant is a member.
If applicants need further support for eligible and registered childcare , caring responsibilities etc this will also be considered.

There are no deadlines and you can apply at any time.
