HotHouse, Doncaster's annual arts festival, is about to start it's workshop programme with a series of workshops aimed at drawing out the comedian in you.
Stand up comic Jan Flamank is leading comedy-writing sessions, suitable for all levels of experience. So whether you have written several scripts or books and are an old hand at the art, but just want a refresher, or you are a total novice with lots of ideas but no idea where to start - these workshops are for you.
There will be three workshops, Wednesday 8th, 15th and 22nd March at 10.30am - 12.30pm. These take place at Central Library and cost £5 each and will be followed by an informal 'sharing' of work at Prego, the festival cafe at 4.30pm on the last Wednesday, 22 March.
Please book for these at The Civic Theatre. Places limited.
If you would like to get involved, call the festival hotline to reserve your place on 01302 862394 or email jacqueline.greaves@doncaster.gov.uk
