Interactive KTP Business Seminar

One of the region's leading entrepreneurs – Ajaz Ahmed, founder of Freeserve (now Wanadoo) and the current chairman of Callserve – is offering valuable business advice at the Interactive KTP (Knowledge Transfer Partnership) Business Seminar run by the West Yorkshire centre for Knowledge Exchange (WYKE).
Aimed at established SMEs (5 - 250 employees) working in the technology, creative and digital industries within Yorkshire and Humberside, the event also offers information about KTP Programmes. This Government scheme is designed to encourage closer and mutually beneficial links between academia and industry by offering funding towards graduate placements. Attending delegates will be given presentations on how they can become involved with the KTP scheme, along with case studies involving businesses that have already benefited.
The impressive list of speakers also includes Bill Boffin from Yorkshire Forward, Philippa Ryan from Momenta and LunchNet's Rob Brown, who will advise delegates on networking skills.
