Creative ConnectionsWednesday 28 June, 6.00 – 8.30 pm at Oakwell Hall
Creative Connections is a quarterly networking event for artists and creative businesses in and around North Kirklees, run by Loca as part of our Creative Business Support Programme.
For 2006 the events are focussing on entrepreneurship inspiration and the secrets of business success.
Dave Bradley, one of the co-founders of Cragrats will start the evening off. He will be talking about how Cragrats has grown from modest beginnings as a theatre company to one of the UK's leading education and training organisations. Cragrats also has an events management business and restaurant near Holmfirth and Dave will be discussing how Cragrats became involved in such diverse trading areas.
Cragrats offers many freelance opportunities to creative specialists from across the region so Loca will be supplying an information table for you to display your portfolio, examples of your work and/or your business cards.
The rest of the evening will be a chance to chat and make contacts and enjoy the beautiful surroundings of Oakwell Hall.
