Rotherham Creative Networks!Artists who live and work in Rotherham are cordially invited to attend the next Creative Networks! event at the Arts Centre, Walker Place, Rotherham, on 6th July. There will be refreshments from 6.00pm, and the main event is from 6.30 pm to 8.00 pm. Creative Networks! is a meeting of artists and local community and voluntary arts groups.
Some local arts groups and artists have expressed interest in how Arts Council England can support the activities of local voluntary and community arts groups. To answer your questions, Emily Penn, Arts Participation & Inclusion Officer at Arts Council England, Yorkshire, will be speaking and you will be able to talk to her about how ACE might be able to support your group
You will also be able to speak to the new Cabinet Member for Culture and Leisure, Councillor Iain St John and hear about his vision for the arts in Rotherham.
In addition, on this occasion we are celebrating the achievements of past recipients of a Funding Arts In Rotherham (FAIR) grant, and all the exciting projects that have been supported by the scheme, with displays by past and present FAIR grant aided groups.
We would also really enjoy seeing a display about your work to promote your past, current or proposed activities. Please let me know if you will be able to attend, and whether you would like to display information about your group or even perform! I look forward to seeing you at the event.
