York Open Studios Weekend31 March, 1 & 2 April 2006
42 York based artists and makers will open their studios and houses to the public, offering the chance to meet the artists, to see and buy a wide variety of art & craft in an informal non-gallery environment in the fifth annual York Open Studios event. Including many new artists, work is in a greater variety of media: painting, printmaking, furniture design, ceramics, sculpture and jewellery.

A free directory of the event, with a detailed map showing the location of each venue, and details of participating artists and their work is available from all York libraries or order by e mail from info@yorkopenstudios.co.uk.
