EUCLID is very pleased to announce an expansion of the www.culture.info service to include a free JOBS portal and a number of other new services:
New "jobs.culture.info" Portal
http://jobs.culture.info
Details of arts and culture jobs in the UK and Ireland, and also in other European countries, in the US, Canada, Australia and New Zealand. It is free to list jobs on this portal. Send details to ian@euclid.info.
Culture.Info subportals
There are now portals for 34 European countries, for Canada and Hong Kong, and for a range of "themes": funding deadlines, international conferences, networks, research, capitals of culture, cultural policy, creative industries, workspaces, tenders, and many more.
Other new subportals include http://stpa.culture.info, the portal for the annual "Social Theory, Politics and the Arts" conference, to be held next in New York in October 2007.
All Culture.Info subportals can be accessed via www.culture.info or by typing "xxx.culture.info" into your URL where "xxx" is the area of interest. For example, canada, funding, network, deadlines, research, capital, industry, workspace, etc.
To supplement the official Culture 2000/2007 Partner Search Database, Euclid will be setting up a listing of organisations or projects seeking partners. We will launch this from mid-September. If you are looking for partners, please send a brief description of your project idea and what sort of partners you are seeking to ian@euclid.info. These can be submitted at any time and will be posted online within 2 days of receipt. This listing will include partner searches generally, as well as for Culture 2007, so please also indicate whether you are just interested in the Culture 2007 programme or whether you are trying to develop a partnership-based project irrespective of whether you receive Culture 2007 funding.
The http://eufunds.culture.info page now includes a list of the Brussels-based offices of UK regions and cities, who may also be able to help you in your European partner searches. Feedback, including new content for Culture.Info and suggestions for new portals, is always welcome. Partners who provide content for new or existing portals can "brand" these webpages with their name, logo and URL.
Bookings are now open for CulturEuro Seminars. Virtually all EU funding programmes change from 2007 - this round of seminars will give you the latest updates. Bookings are already going well, so don't delay if you want to secure a place at the seminar in the city nearest to you. Go to the www.euclid.info homepage. Bookings also open for Workspace and Rural Seminars
EUCLID is also running two additional seminar series, offering a more in-depth approach to the issues of developing workspaces for creative practitioners, and to possible opportunities for the cultural sector from the new rules for the EU's Common Agricultural Policy. To book for any of these, please also go to www.euclid.info - please also note that discounts are available for bookings for more than one seminar or more than one person from the same organisation.
