Voluntary Action Rotherham are seeking an artist to create a site-specific artwork, with
community input, to enhance the entrance to a their new community base. The budget is £15,000 to
include all costs and fees.
Selection will be based on the artists’ track record of delivering creative projects, and an
outline proposal. Detailed drawings will not be required at this stage.
The deadline for applications is Friday 17th October with an interview date for short-listed
candidates on of 27th October. The artist will need to be available for community workshops and
discussions in the first two weeks of November, and the work will need to be completed no later
than 30th January 2009.
