In CIDA, we place a premium on creativity and responsibility. Every twelfth week, we ‘go dark’
(theatre term: no ‘audience’, no clients, just us) to refresh our creativity and sharpen our
skills. We invest in and support each other with a shared objective of exceeding both our own and
our clients’ expectations. Our Happy File attests to our success in this to date but we never take
this for granted.
We now face an exciting future, building on success - we work across the UK and
internationally to help build creative and economically vibrant communities. The challenges are
considerable and we need high level skills to help us meet them.
We are therefore looking for an experienced person to join us to help take CIDA forward. In
addition to being a creative thinker, the ideal candidate will have demonstrably strong experience
in finance and managing people, and effective strategic, business planning and implementation
skills.
The postholder plays a key leadership role in the company as part of strategic management and
is responsible for the company’s financial well being. HR and Quality Assurance are also part of
the portfolio.
Salary circa £40,000 – head office based at the Media Centre Network, the UK’s most
successful creative cluster, and located in Huddersfield, one of the UK’s top ten creative cities.
If you are interested in joining us, please send us your CV and a covering email/letter
describing what contribution you feel you could make to our success.
Emails should have "DEPUTY CEO" in the subject line and should be sent to
