Integreat Yorkshire is the Regional Centre of Excellence for Yorkshire & the Humber region,
dedicated to enabling all those who want to be active in the renaissance and regeneration of our
region access to the skills and information they need to create ‘Great Places’. As a business
programme within The Yorkshire & Humber Sustainable Futures Company Ltd., (SFCo) - a wholly
owned subsidiary of Yorkshire Forward - Integreat sits at the heart of the renaissance programme,
responding to the views and needs of partners and practitioners across the region.
This is a key role within the management team and will be responsible for managing the
Integreat skills programme to provide people throughout the region with opportunities to learn
about renaissance, place making, regeneration and the sustainable communities’ agenda.
Your key responsibilities will be for the contracting and management of delivery
organisations plus the development, delivery and ongoing management of new learning projects. An
integral part of this role is the effective liaison with a range of partners and stakeholders
together with representing the organisation at senior levels.
Your knowledge and experience will include an awareness of the Egan review of skills and the
implications for delivering skills for sustainable communities, together with the ability to design
and commission learning and skills programmes and direct delivery of learning programmes to a
variety of audiences. Also, your ability to champion innovation and new ways of working in
collaboration with partners will be a key requirement.
This post is initially offered on a Fixed Term Contract until March 2010.
