Media & Arts Partnership (MAAP) in Leeds has a six month placement opportunity for a
trainee arts administrator, starting immediately.
Sue Ball, Media & Arts Partnership (MAAP) is a leading public art consultancy that creates
opportunities for artists to work in partnership with a diverse range of public and private sector
organisations within the context of city regeneration. Creative projects focus on working in the
gaps between disciplines and practices to engender new ways of thinking about places, peoples and
the spaces we occupy.
The successful applicant will be very organised and a self starter and be based both in the
office and working onsite on designated projects.
Office responsibilities would include:
- simple bookkeeping (inputting into EXCEL)
- office management
- marketing and comms (website development and update)
- maintaining project databases
Project input:
- taking notes at meetings
- supporting project admin
- other creative/arts admin input into projects
This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone wishing to develop their contacts and experience in
the public art field.
Travel expenses will be paid along with a training allowance.
